pianist's standing ovation

GuruBar exhibition, Athens 2007

Music concerts, museums' exhibitions or galleries' shows are primarily experienced in a state of contemplation, a form of unique awarness (optical or acoustic), of a single viewer.
Precise codes of behavior, such as silence and reverence, preoccupy a dipole such as ''artist- viewer'' or furthermore ''produser-consumer''.This relation recognizes a kind of authority
for the creator and against the viewer.
Why can't we just kiss the pianist, play with Duchamp's objects or masturbate in front of Mona Lisa?
